Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Washington Commanders fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
Today, we have two questions in the Reacts survey.
Question 1
The first asks you what you think the plan will be at the starting center position for the Commanders.
At the end of the ‘25 season, starting center Tyler Biadasz was injured in Week 17 and was replaced for that game
and the final game of the season by Nick Allegretti. Last week, the Commanders released Biadasz, a move that was surprising, but not quite shocking. The surprise was that the team would create a hole on a roster that already had so many of them. Not shocking because we had seen reports like this one for the entire second half of the 2025 season:
Tyler Biadasz allowed 1 sack and 1 hurry. His 7.4% Pressure Rate allowed is more than twice the acceptable limit for iOL. Ideally, a starting center should be under 3%. This has been a consistent theme in the last 6 games for Biadasz.
Now that he is gone, and with the start of free agency less than a week away, we’re wondering how you think Adam Peters will plug this new roster hole. Will the team turn back to Nick Allegretti, who just signed an extension this week? Will the team turn to someone else from the Commanders 2024 roster; or perhaps sign a free agent center when free agency officially opens on March 11th? Will they draft a player 71st overall with the necessary skills to compete for the role?
Question 2
Our second question revisits a question we have asked before — twice since January 2024, if memory serves. In this question, we ask you to identify your current level of confidence in Washington’s GM, Adam Peters.
Comments & Results
Of course, we invite you to answer the survey questions below, but also feel free to expand on your answers and provide nuance in the comments section. While you are certainly free to simply share which choices you made on the survey questions, the most interesting comments will explain why you answered the way you did. I rely on those comments when discussing the results of the survey when they are posted in a separate article the next few days.
