The 2026 season has been a roller coaster thus far for the New York Jets, and the results of our weekly SB Nation Reacts surveys have shown that. After the team’s narrow Week 3 loss to the Lions, 71 percent of fans who voted expressed confidence in the team’s direction. That number took a dramatic fall after the loss to the Chicago Bears one week later. Fan confidence fell all the way to 18 percent.
How much did the win over the Cleveland Browns help confidence? Apparently the answer is quite a bit.
Just one week after less than one in five voters said they were confident, a majority now feel this team is headed in the right direction.
At this point, we can surmise the result of the latest game has a lot to do with fan confidence. A win over the Patriots will likely lead to a massive rise next week while a big loss could have us back in the teens.
