If you see the notable folks from T-Mobile not sitting in their usual positions as Bayern Munich plays SC Freiburg, you will not need to stop drinking (who are we to judge?) and you are not laying on your
couch upside down.
In fact, it will be because those T-Mobile employees who don the white ponchos are purposely sitting in a formation that will make the logo appear to be upside down as part of a promotion for season five of the Netflix hit show Stranger Things per an announcement from MagentaTV (via @iMiaSanMia):
The ‘T’ in Bayern’s warm-up shirts, advertising boards and the one in the stands will be upside down during tomorrow’s game against Freiburg. This is part of a campaign by Deutsche Telekom to draw attention to the fifth and final season of Stranger Things that will premiere on November 27 and will also be available on MagentaTV. The flipped T is a reference to ‘The Upside Down’, the parallel dimension in Stranger Things.
How will the Ultras react?
