What is the story about?
Well, last night was fun, eh? When every game feels like a big one, are any of them or all of them? This one absolutely has that feel. The Red Sox HAVE to take two out of three from a team like the A’s to keep themselves in contention. At this point, I’d just be happy clinching any sort of playoff spot and whatever happens, happens. This takes the team to 10 games left on the season and their magic number is now eight. Any win we can grab—and losses by the Guardians and Rangers—shrink that down.
