This past week, I asked for predictions of how many wins MSU would pick up in 2026. We saw a razor thin margin between the “6 or 7” wins voters (46%) and the “3-5” wins crowd (44%). Interestingly,
if you include the voters who selected “8 or 9” wins, more than half of voters believe the Spartans will be playing in a bowl game at the end of 2026.
Izzo4POTUS said in the comments, “I wonder what extraneous substance is fueling those that picked 8-9 wins.” We don’t disqualify votes for being sober-deficient. So keep drinking whatever you all are drinking and keep voting in our surveys.
There was one result from the national surveys that I thought was interesting and decided to share here.
The Spartans will be one of the teams sporting a sponsor patch on their uniforms this coming season, as MSUFCU threw some money our way for the advertising placement. How do you all feel about another name going on our uniforms?
As always, if you have a suggestion for a survey, please mention it in the comments.
This survey was sponsored by the folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook who currently have our MSU Spartans as 11.5 point favorites in our season opener against Toledo. We are also tied for last in the Big Ten with +40,000 odds to win the conference.
