Robert Lewandowski’s Barcelona career officially ended on Saturday’s La Liga finale against Valencia, and the Polish superstar scored one last time to finish his tenure with 120 goals as the leader of Barça’s frontline.
Lewandowski only needed four years to become a legend of the club, winning three La Liga titles, three Spanish Super Cups and one Copa del Rey and helping lead Barça back to the top of Europe. The Pole came to the club at a time when it wasn’t easy to be a Blaugrana and took the challenge
head on, and he leaves as an icon who gave the Catalan capital a taste of his brilliance as one of the very best strikers of the 21st century — and the history of the sport.
It will be very hard to find a capable replacement in the upcoming summer transfer window, and Lewy’s name will forever be associated with the great number nines in Barça history such as Gary Lineker, Romário, Ronaldo, Patrick Kluivert, Samuel Eto’o, Luis Suárez and others.
So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
Where does Robert Lewandowski rank on the list of Barcelona’s greatest strikers?
