The Cleveland Browns announced their inactives for today’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The biggest question mark is whether cornerback Tyson Campbell, who was battling an ankle injury, would play or not. Campbell is active, so he should be good-to-go. Here are the Browns’ inactives for Week 2:
- QB Taylen Green (third QB)
- OG Teven Jenkins
- C Parker Brailsford
- LB Justin Jefferson
- S Daniel Thomas
- CB Toriano Pride Jr
CB Noah Igbinoghene was added to the injury report late with a hand injury, but he is active after being inactive for the opener. Cleveland also elevated LB Nathaniel Watson for today’s game from the practice
squad.
Brailsford was healthy enough to play this week, but when Todd Monken was asked about him during the week, he indicated that they’d have to get the rookie up-to-speed to see if he was ready to serve as the team’s backup center yet.
Green will be available as the third quarterback only if both QB Deshaun Watson and QB Shedeur Sanders exit the game with injuries.
The Buccaneers’ inactives include OG Billy Schrauth, OG Luke Haggard, DL Elijah Simmons, DL Demonte Capehart, and CB Jacob Parrish.
