The Hardys have a lot to offer in TNA. One positive is giving the rub by association to rising talent. In that context, Matt and Jeff made a new friend in the Impact Zone.
The Hardys rolled in to see Mara Sadé (aka Jakara Jackson) painting an homage to them. The gesture was greatly appreciated, and the bond began to form with Jeff offering to show his canvases to Sadé.
Of course, that painting would be useful to kick-start
a story. Tasha Steelz and the Great Hands caught a peak of Sadé’s art with mocking criticism. Sadé and the Hardys overheard the rude comments. Sadé challenged Steelz to a match next week, then we were granted a peak at the painting in question.
Being that Order 4 always cheats, it makes sense that we will see more of the Hardys hanging with Sadé to keep the Great Hands at bay.
In the meantime, the Hardys will also be in action next week against another one of their protégés. The TNA tag team champions will wrestle Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander in a non-title bout. This wasn’t Slater’s idea. Alexander is proving to be a friend that isn’t worth having. When Slater said that he would be honored to team with Alexander, Alexander took it upon himself to book the match with the Hardys. Slater was understandably reluctant, but he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a banger in the ring.
There was no mention of the Hardys’ reaction. This story could go either way as friendly competition or Alexander framing Slater to drive a wedge in that friendship.
