Arijon Ibrahimović has been a name mentioned for years now as one of Bayern Munich’s bright young talents. With a legendary last name, the German youth has spent time in both Italy and Germany over the past seasons, but has yet to earn a full opportunity with any club yet. This looks like it could be changing shortly though.
Ibrahimović has already made strong impressions during his short time with FC Heidenheim already. After just a few weeks, the legendary Heidenheim manager, Frank Schmidt, had
great things to say.
“He has used the time to work his way into the team. He has a very good mentality, a very good attitude. I hope and assume he will maintain that until the end of his loan with us,” Schmidt said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Schmidt is already keen on giving Ibrahimović starting minutes, which is quite the statement considering he has just joined the club. Schmidt went on to add that he ‘hopes and assumes’ that the German winger will maintain that level throughout the loan. While Ibrahimović might not be top of the young talent charts within the club these days, it is certainly not too late for the winger to break into a more significant role down the line.
