Marcus Rashford has reacted to Barcelona’s 2-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League with a motivational message to his team-mates.
The England international picked up his fourth assist
of the season for Barcelona during the game to set up Ferran Torres, but it wasn’t enough as PSG fought to back to take all three points.
Rashford has acknowledged it’s a tough one for Barcelona but is already looking forwards. He posted on Instagram: “We fought, but the result wasn’t on our side last night. We recover, reset and go again as a team.”
Barcelona go again on Sunday against Sevilla in La Liga and will be hoping to return to winning ways. Rashford will also be aiming to maintain his current form after making a real impact with his new club.
The Manchester United loanee now has four assists and two goals in his last six outings for the Catalan giants and is the team’s top assister at present.
