There’s been very little, if any, chatter about Raheem Sterling during this transfer window, with the 30-year-old spending his time buried deep in the Bomb Squad™ hoping that someone would take some interest in him and give him another chance. (See also: Ben Chilwell.)
With just a few hours to go in the transfer window, it sounds like at least one team have become desperate enough for reinforcements to consider this possibility, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Fulham have “revived” their interest
in Sterling. Our friendly neighbors were apparently interested last summer as well, but the veteran winger would end up joining Arsenal on loan instead. That loan didn’t go too well, which is why we’re here in the same predicament once again.
And don’t worry, Sterling still has two years left on his contract, so we’ll probably back here this time next year as well — unless Sterling can revive his career just like Fulham’s supposed interest.
