Duke University midfielder Devin Lynch has signed a one-year contract with Denver Summit FC, the club announced today.
Lynch is an attacking midfielder who has helped Duke to make back-to-back College Cup
appearances in 2024 and 2025. The Blue Devil recorded 13 goals and 17 assists in her last two seasons, making her one of the top contributors in the ACC.
“Devin is a proven winner who understands what it takes to compete at the highest level,” said Curt Johnson, General Manager of Denver Summit FC. “Her ability to impact games in big moments, combined with her consistency and experience on College Cup teams, makes her an exciting addition as we continue building our inaugural roster.”
Additionally, the club announced on Friday the signing of goalkeeper Jordan Nytes. The MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist has signed a one-year contract with Denver.
Nytes is one of the most accomplished goalkeepers in the history of the University of Colorado after earning First-Team All-American honors in 2025, after helping her team to a record-setting senior season. She was also named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Year three times (2022, 2024, 2025) and earned First Team All-Big 12 honors in those years.
“Jordan represents everything we want to build at Denver Summit FC,” said Curt Johnson, General Manager of Denver Summit FC. “She’s an elite goalkeeper, a proven leader, and a Colorado native who understands what soccer means to this community. Her success at Colorado and on the national stage makes her a cornerstone addition as we prepare for our inaugural season.”
Denver also added another piece to the defense by signing Georgetown University graduate Natalie Means. The defender has signed a two-year contract with Denver.
She arrives at the club after earning First Team All-Big East, First Team All-Region, and Second Team Scholar All-American honors playing with the Hoyas.
“Natalie is a proven competitor who has consistently performed at a high level in one of the nation’s strongest collegiate conferences,” said Curt Johnson, General Manager of Denver Summit FC. “Her on-field production, work rate, and leadership, combined with her academic achievements, make her an excellent fit for our club as we continue building our inaugural roster.”
