Four former Texas Longhorns had the chance to come together on the same NFL field over the weekend.
Bijan Robinson and Josh Thompson, who play for the Atlanta Falcons, and DeMarvion Overshown and Jaydon Blue, who play for the Dallas Cowboys, reunited following the NFL preseason finale between the two NFC teams.
Robinson and Overshown watched from the sidelines, but Thompson and Blue faced off against each other.
(Thompson, who recorded two tackles on the night, was later released by the Falcons on Sunday.)
Thompson is a defensive back who played for Texas from 2017 to 2021. He went undrafted the following offseason.
Blue helped tote the rock at Texas from 2022 to 2024. The Cowboys selected him in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Robinson, a running back, was a stud in Texas’ backfield from 2022 to 2024, and after that, a first round pick.
Overshown played defensive end at Texas from 2018 to 2022. The Cowboys selected him in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Robinson and Overshown last competed on opposite ends of the field in November of last year.
