Michigan offensive lineman Jake Guarnera has entered the transfer portal.
Guarnera, a three-star prospect in the class of 2024 from Point Verde Beach, Florida, made his first career start in Week 3 at right guard against Central Michigan and started there for the rest of the season. What makes Guarnera’s transfer portal entry somewhat perplexing is that just days ago, he said that after meeting with new Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham, he intended to remain with the Wolverines. Guarnera is the third Michigan lineman to enter the portal, along with Andrew Sprague and Kaden Strayhorn.
