Following Monday’s reveal of Mickie James as the first member of the 2025 TNA Hall of Fame class, the promotion today (Sept. 23) booked two more names for the Hall induction ceremony at their Bound For
Glory PPV next month.
Multi-inductee classes are pretty rare for TNA’s Hall, but it’s something they’ve done the past two years. This time around, The Beautiful People will be joining James.
The Beautiful People was a stable that at times also featured Lacey Von Erich and Billy Gunn, and for much of the group’s run former Knockouts champion Madison Rayne. But like Gunn, Rayne is in AEW now. That makes them unlikely candidates to receive any honors from WWE partner promotions right now. It’s hard to argue that Angelina Love and Velvet Sky aren’t the most famous Beautiful People duo, too. They started the act, and the group’s never existed without them. Rayne was there for the majority of their existence, but even Cute Kip (Gunn) joined before her.
Like James, Love & Sky were surprised with the news by TNA president Carlos Silva:
Here’s TNA’s bio for their newest Hall of Famers:
Angelina Love and Velvet Sky were the original members of The Beautiful People, characters inspired by Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. The team was known for its narcissistic gimmick and had multiple singles and tag-team championship reigns. The arrogant blondes had one goal: to cleanse the TNA roster “one ugly person at a time.”
They’ll be inducted along with Mickie James, Oct. 12 on PPV in Lowell, Massachusetts at Bound For Glory.
