Sitting comfortably in first place in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League, Bayern Munich will host Club Brugge from Belgium. Bayern is the only remaining team in Europe with a 100% win rate. Over
the weekend, Bayern survived a tough match against Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker but survived with a 2-1 victory.
Bayern and Club Brugge have only played two competitive matches, both in the 2005/06 Champions League group stage. Bayern won the home match 1-0 but Club Brugge gritted out a 1-1 draw in the second match.
Thanks to the Belgian club’s domestic performances, Club Brugge has become an annual participant in European competitions. Touting a 4-1 win over Monaco and a close 2-1 loss at Atalanta, the Belgians will be gunning for a big upset over the German giants.
Odds: Bayern (-455), Draw (+500), Club Brugge (+1100)
Prediction: Bayern wins, 3-1. Harry Kane will score a brace in the first half to electrify the home crowd, including a banger from outside the box. Club Brugge will claw back a goal in 65th minute but Kane will complete the hat trick with a penalty kick to close it out.
