Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol stated he is happy at Manchester City, amid rumors of Real Madrid being interested in signing him.
Real Madrid signed Ibrahima Konate a few days ago, and have been reportedly looking into signing a left-footed central defender who can also play on the left as a full-back.
Gvardiol’s name has come up a bunch of times, as has Riccardo Calafiori’s, both of whom would be an expensive deal should Real Madrid go for it.
Gvardiol was asked about the interest from the club
in a press conference, to which he stated he is doing well at Manchester City.
He said: “I’m happy at City, I have everything I need, I played all the games until the injury, almost full minutes. After the World Cup we’ll see what and how to move forward.”
It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid explore this deal any further in the coming weeks.
