Have you ever felt stuck at a job and just going through the motions? It could be due to boredom and a routine that’s outlived its fit for your life. Perhaps new coworkers have replaced ones you’d grown to love, bringing a change of workplace culture that you just don’t vibe with. Or maybe there was a change in management or ownership that undermined the foundation of what drew you to the position in the first place.
If so, I feel for you, having been there myself. Sometimes, all that’s needed to
refresh your motivation, performance, and satisfaction with your working life is a change of scenery.
Well, my friends, as I’m sure you all know (though it’s sometimes easy to forget), professional footballers are human beings too, and they can experience the same workplace setbacks. Sometimes they, too, need a change of environment to truly shine.
We’ve seen it before — a player with lots of promise or past success struggling to put consistently good displays together on the pitch, only to find a rich vein of sustained good form after a transfer. Moise Kean is a great recent example of a player who seemed to have lost all confidence in his last spell at Juventus, scoring exactly zero goals during the 2023-24 season, his last in bianconero. Fast forward to 2024-25, and he bagged 19 goals in Serie A for Fiorentina after a move to the Tuscan club.
This past season there was no shortage of Juventus players that struggled to find their footing, but perhaps some of them can find greener pastures while also making way for fresh faces on the roster.
So, with all that said, the latest Juventus Question of the Day is this: In your opinion, which current Juventus players just need a change of scenery to bring out their best form?
