This month has a historic Saturday Night’s Main Event show, but otherwise we’re in one of the rare lulls in WWE’s schedule. December usually isn’t too eventful, as wrestling mostly opts to lay down for
the winter holidays.
Business always picks back up in January, though. That’s usually when the Road to WrestleMania starts with Royal Rumble, and the event known for the two battle royals that give it its name. That PLE is set to happen during the first month of 2026, but ‘Mania Road starts in an unprecedented place this year. Royal Rumble ‘26 will be held in Saudi Arabia.
Today (Dec. 9), a little more than a month-and-a-half away from the show, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared our first look at the poster for Royal Rumble Riyadh. It features 15 superstars, but of course no confirmation of whether they’ll be in one of the Rumbles competing for a main event title match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas come April.
Here’s the poster, which includes Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Stephanie Vaquer, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, Becky Lynch, Tiffany Stratton, Drew McIntyre, Penta, Jade Cargill, Dominik Mysterio, Jey Uso, and IYO SKY.
