Tennessee is on the road again tonight looking for another big win away from Knoxville, set to face the Missouri Tigers. It’s a huge spot for both sides as the Volunteers continue to try to work their way up the seed list while the Tigers are simply trying to make the NCAA Tournament. Missouri is currently listed among Joe Lunardi’s last four teams in.
The Volunteers are coming off of a huge road with at Vanderbilt on Saturday and are looking for another tonight.
“I don’t think we would have won it
a month ago,” Rick Barnes said of the win over the weekend. “When you talk about toughness, it’s not just the physicality part of it, it’s the mental toughness part. That’s where we’ve improved the most.“
Tennessee has suddenly won eight of its last nine, making a major push into March. A win tonight would likely push them into the No. 4 seed conversation.
