Fans of the Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team are receiving their first bit of scheduling news for the 2026-27 season.
Matchups were announced for the fourth annual 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge, and like the men’s squad, the Syracuse women will be taking on the Oklahoma Sooners.
Syracuse will host Oklahoma on December 3 inside the JMA Wireless Dome. Tip-off time and TV information will be announced at a later date, according to the ACC.
This game is set to be a key one for the Orange in terms of potentially
beefing up their tournament resume. ESPN’s first bracketology update heading into 2026-27 projects the Sooners as a six-seed; it has the Orange in “Last Four Byes” territory.
This will be the second time the Orange have ever faced the Sooners. The two teams last played in December 2011, with Oklahoma defeating Syracuse in Las Vegas by 19.
