Finally, the Green Bay Packers will open the home portion of their 2026 regular season schedule tonight. On a short week, the Packers will host the 0-2 Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football for the first game of the season at Lambeau Field.
This will be the first time since 2023 that the Packers’ home opener comes as late as week 3. This comes after the 2025 season saw the Packers open up with back-to-back home games, the first time the schedule had called for that since 2018.

Tonight’s game is also the first of two Thursday Night Football games at Lambeau Field this season. The Packers will host another NFC South team, the Carolina Panthers, in Week 8 (October 29).
