“Jungle” Jack Perry recently called out the absent Samoa Joe for a match in AEW. In order to tune up for the fight, Perry wrestled against Joe’s stablemate Katsuyori Shibata on tonight’s (Sept. 26) Tailgate Brawl pre-show, ahead of AEW’s All Out pay-per-view.
Perry didn’t have much trouble scoring the win over Shibata. Business picked up afterwards when the Chicago crowd called on Joe to finally return to AEW. That’s what Jack wanted too, and it’s exactly what he got.
Perry foolishly tried to get Samoa to shake his hand while the fans were busy chanting “Joe is gonna kill you.” Joe wasn’t interested in touching Jack’s gross, sweaty hand and tried to walk away, but Perry wouldn’t take no for an answer. After he shoved Joe a couple times and extended his hand again, Joe decided to smash this idiot in the face with his head.
