After being listed as out with a knee injury from training on the NWSL availability report this Saturday, the status of Olivia Moultrie has been confirmed.
Today, the Portland Thorns confirmed that sustained an ACL injury to her right knee in a training session last week. The midfielder will now be placed on the season-ending injury (SEI) list
and will be out for the remainder of the season.
The USWNT midfielder was on pace for a career NWSL season. In just 16 matches, she recorded five goals and five assists.
“Olivia is one of the most driven players I have been around, and she will use that drive during her recovery and rehabilitation,” said Jeff Agoos, President and GM of Soccer Operations for Portland Thorns. “She has our full support and every resource this club can put behind her. “
