Th Indianapolis Colts released their Friday injury report today ahead of week 3 of the NFL season against the Houston Texans.
Wide receiver Alec Pierce (heel) has been ruled OUT for Sundays game against the Texans. Pierce aggravated his heel injury and landed in injured reserve earlier in the week. The team signed free agent Darius Slayton to help fill the void Pierce leaves behind.
Wide receiver Ashton Dulin (ankle) has been ruled OUT
for Sundays game against the Texans. Dulin injured his ankle week 1 against the Ravens and will now miss his second game through injury. Expect to see a practices ejection to help replace him in special teams.
Cornerback Charvarius Ward (groin) has been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Texans. Ward injured his groin against the Chiefs and had to leave the game, he did not manage to return. Ward missed practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday but was a full participant today. Ward appears to be trending in the right direction and has a good shot at being available on Sunday.
