The Arizona Cardinals got the ball to start the second half down 13-6 to the Denver Broncos. They’d pick up a couple of first downs to get across midfield on their opening drive.
Trey McBride began to heat up on that drive with back to back catches to get into field goal range, but a reply assist overturned the bigger of those two catches on a 16-yarder to push the Cardinals back to a second down at the Denver 45 yard line. The Broncos defense capitalized and shut them down and then blocked the punt
for good measure.
Adam Prentice and Tycen Anderson came through with Prentice being the one who got his hands on it for the big special teams play.
After picking up one first down, a perfectly designed screen from Bo Nix to RJ Harvey sprung free for a 52-yard catch and run to blow the game wide open for the Broncos.
Seeing three offensive linemen out in front with no one to block was a dead giveaway that a huge play was about to happen. Beautifully executed play!

In predictable fashion, the Broncos defense began playing soft up by two scores and the Cardinals offense drove the length of the field to again end up inside the 10 yard line with a first and goal at the five. A stuffed run for a two yard loss pushed them back where Jacoby Brissett threw to Trey McBride on a quick slant for the touchdown to bring the score back to a reasonable touchdown difference.

Jonah Coleman opened with a 12 yard run on his first carry, then a four yard run by Coleman and a five yard toss to Lil’Jordan Humphrey brought up a third and short. Coleman took the inside handoff and dove forward for the first down a few yards shy of midfield. This is how the Broncos next offensive drive began.
Bo Nix then found Marvin Mims Jr. open outside who broke a tackle to gain 47-yards to setup a first and goal at the six yard line.
A pass interference call on a pass to Courtland Sutton set Denver up with a first down at the one yard line with two seconds left in the quarter. J.K. Dobbins would punch it in from there to end the quarter.
