The go-home episode of Raw before WrestleMania 42 will be packed with beef. Brock Lesnar, Oba Femi, and Gunther are among the slabs of meat featured on Monday’s menu in Sacramento, which may include an appearance by Royce Keys.
Keys, who appeared on SmackDown last Friday in San Jose, responded to Raw GM Adam Pearce’s show preview on X, writing, “Hmmmm 1hr 15min drive.” He signed off with a thinking emoji.
WWE’s website doesn’t list Keys as a member of the Raw or SmackDown roster, nor does it have him
assigned as a free agent, a group that includes other notable monsters Femi, Lesnar, Omos, and Danhausen.
Wait. Scratch that last one.
Nonetheless, Keys impressed in his singles debut against Berto, lifting him into a twisting powerslam before finishing him with a spinebuster. It was his first full match since debuting at the Royal Rumble in January.
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry praised the segment on Busted Open, expressing optimism for the former AEW star.
“He’s going to be a good one, I can see it already,” said Henry.
Do you think Royce Keys shows up on Raw tonight, Cagesiders? Who should WWE serve up to the powerhouse from East Palo Alto, and might he be a last-minute addition to Mania? Take your best guess in the comments.
