It’s another dream, 8-0 start in Bloomington for Indiana football after the breakout in 2024 in Curt Cignetti’s first season leading the program. Hoosier fans expect even more than last year’s 11-1 regular
season record for Indiana, with a majority of respondents to our Reacts survey believing the team will finish 12-0 on the season:
While 12-0 received a majority of the votes, 11-1 came in second with 25% of respondents while 10-2 sat at a distant third with 3% of respondents. Indiana is set to take on Maryland today at SECU Stadium in College Park, Maryland. The other teams remaining on the Hoosiers’ schedule are Penn State, Wisconsin and Purdue.
A 12-0 finish would mean the Hoosiers receive a berth in the Big Ten Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, likely facing off against No. 1 Ohio State. It’d be the Hoosiers’ first appearance in the conference championship, which would result in an autobid in the College Football Playoff should Indiana emerge victorious.
