Today we can take a break from the monotony of the offseason rumor mill, and focus on a different aspect of the game — the Hall of Fame debate. The 2026 class will be revealed tonight, and ballots have
been trickling in over the last few weeks as those who chose to reveal their selections have been posting them online for folks to track. Thanks to that, we have a pretty good idea of the odds for some players, and it looks like at the very least Carlos Beltran is in great position to be one of the men donning a gold jacket in Cooperstown come this summer. There may be a few players joining him there, but that picture is still a little bit murkier and will have to wait for the full reveal later tonight.
Speaking of, Andrew leads us off for today with a reveal of who we at Pinstripe Alley would’ve elected had we been given ballots. Then, Josh gives his thoughts on the Yankees’ willingness to hold firm on their offer to Cody Bellinger and what that would look like should he go elsewhere, Sam wishes a happy birthday to Kevin Maas, and Nick relives the infamous Carl Pavano contract for our free agent series.
Questions/Prompts:
1. Who do you think will get elected to the Hall of Fame this year?
2. Who will have the biggest jump in support, whether they make it or don’t?
