The World Series gave us an instant classic on Monday, as the Dodgers outlasted the Blue Jays in an 18-inning affair that required all hands on deck from each team’s respective benches and bullpens. Several
members of this Dodgers team can remember the 18-inning marathon they fought in the 2018 World Series against Boston — that time, it wound up being the only win LA would manage in the Fall Classic. Up 2-1 in this year’s championship, they’re hoping their fate looks better this time around.
As we await the start of Game 4, take some time to look through what we’ve got for you here on the site. Sam does some yeoman’s work recapping last night’s World Series action after staying up for it all, and then Nolan covers the latest week in the Arizona Fall League. John has the latest Report Card, this time delivered to Paul Goldschmidt, and Estevão looks back on some prior MVP races that could mirror this year’s contest between Aaron Judge and Cal Raleigh.

Questions/Prompts:
1. Will the Blue Jays have any life left in them after dropping that 18-inning bout?
2. Do you miss these lengthy extra-inning affairs during the regular season at all, or is it only appealing in postseason play with the added stakes?
