We have reached day two in the voting for Caleb Williams’ best play of the season in a March Madness-style bracket. Yesterday, we saw Jahdae Walker’s game-tying TD catch vs Green Bay advance over the needle-threading TD throw to Olamide Zaccheaus, also vs the Packers. We saw the Cole Kmet game-tying heave vs the Rams defeat Caleb’s touchdown catch, from DJ Moore, vs the Cincinnati Bengals.
We will be doing two first-round matchups per day, Monday through Thursday this week, so make sure you go to

Here are today’s matches.
Caleb 4th quarter TD Run vs the Burden flea flicker
This potentially could be an interesting vote. I think the flashier play is the flea flicker, of course, but how important was the Caleb TD run against the NY Giants? The Bears crushed the Cowboys and had their way with them, but the Giants game was a grind-out win, and Caleb had to take it into his own hands and willed the Bears to a victory.
Caleb Williams TD Run vs New York Giants
I think this was Caleb’s best run of the season. Sure, he had crazier missed tackles, but when you watch this play and see the acceleration down the sidelines, considering the moment in the game, fourth quarter, Bears trailing, needing a touchdown to take the lead, Caleb rising to the moment easily puts this one in the top 16.
Flea Flicker to Luther Burden vs Cowboys
Watching this play live, you would have thought this play easily would have been one of the top 3 plays of the season, but by the end of the year, it was just part of the insanity that is Caleb Williams. You don’t think about it much at this point, but this Bears game was critical to the Bears’ turnaround. Who knows what happens if they fall to 0-3? Williams’ coralling of the subpar pitch is what makes this one even more special.

Here’s our second matchup:
DJ Moore “The Catch II” vs DJ Moore one-hander
On the surface, Caleb’s throw to Moore in the back corner of the end zone against Cleveland, you would just assume wins this matchup, but the throw to DJ Moore against Baltimore is probably more impressive, plus Moore makes a great one-handed catch. This should be an interesting matchup.
DJ Moore “The Catch II” vs Browns
Caleb Williams’ throw in this one mimicked arguably the most legendary throw and catch in NFL history, Joe Montana to Dwight Clark, “The Catch.” Moore snags the ball in the back corner of the end zone as the ball is just out of reach of a Browns defender.
DJ Moore One-Handed Catch vs Ravens
This is the throw that I think was really impressive and gets lost in the story of the year. Perhaps it’s because they lost this game, perhaps it’s because DJ Moore didn’t get out of bounds at the end of the play, but Williams spins with two guys in his face and fires this incredible ball across the field, and Moore makes an incredible one-handed catch.
