After Brock Lesnar got his ass kicked by Oba Femi last month at WrestleMania 42, The Beast broke down in tears and left his boots in the middle of the ring. Lesnar surprised just about everyone by seemingly retiring from WWE on the spot.
There have been mixed rumors regarding the legitimacy of Lesnar’s retirement since then, especially given the fact that SummerSlam 2026 takes place in Minnesota, and Career Killer GUNTHER vs. Lesnar is an obvious match that’s still potentially out there.
Paul Heyman
swears that Lesnar is done, for whatever his word is worth. In a recent promo on Raw, he called out WWE’s production team for still including Lesnar in the “Now” portion of the show opening, instead of moving The Beast to “Forever.”
Well, it appears that someone in WWE finally got the memo, because Lesnar has been moved off the current Superstars page on its web site, and moved into the Alumni section, alongside folks like Braun Strowman and The Boogeyman.
Does Lesnar’s new alumni status mean he is retired for real and won’t be back in WWE for one last match, or is this all just part of a work? Give me your reaction in the comments below, Cagesiders.
