Tony Ferguson is getting back in the ring.
The former UFC interim lightweight champion has booked his second boxing match under the Misfits banner as he defends his interim middleweight title on Dec. 20
as part of the card headed to Dubai.
Ferguson faces Warren Spencer in a featured bout on the card.
Of course, Spencer’s name should sound familiar after he made his MMA debut back in August and suffered a submission loss to Dillon Danis just 15 seconds into the opening round. Now Spencer returns to boxing after he racked up back-to-back wins in Misfits in 2024 and 2025.
As for Ferguson, he looks to follow up an impressive Misfits debut when he defeated Salt Papi via third-round TKO to win the interim middleweight title. The fight served as Ferguson’s first bout outside the UFC after he left the organization off eight consecutive losses.
Now Ferguson is booked for his second boxing match with the fight against Spencer scheduled for Dec. 20.
The Misfits card in Dubai also features Danis’ return to action after he got involved in an ugly brawl this past weekend at UFC 322 in New York, which resulted in him being removed from the arena and banned from ever attending another UFC event.
Danis faces Anthony Taylor in a Misfits rules MMA fight on the card.
