The Detroit Lions are officially on the clock in our 2026 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft.
This draft, which includes 31 of our community’s most devoted commenters acting as 31 general managers, has now approached the 16th overall pick. That is owned by the New York Jets, and the acting general manager for the Jets is commenter JustWinginit.
This is the Jets’ second pick in the draft. JustWinginit selected Ohio State edge defender Arvell Reese with the second overall pick. Where will they go

Now, onto this pick:
With the 16th pick in the 2026 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the New York Jets select Jordyn Tyson, wide receiver out of Arizona State.
Here’s DanCampbellBurnerAccount explaining the pick:
Continuing with my theme of high-upside skill players, I have selected WR Jordyn Tyson with the 16th overall pick. The New York Jets have been building a more explosive, youth-driven offense, and a receiver like Jordyn Tyson fits that direction perfectly. Tyson’s speed, route-running polish, and ability to create separation would complement a Jets offense that’s looking to stretch the field and take pressure off its quarterback. He brings versatility too—capable of lining up inside or outside—which gives the Jets flexibility in how they design matchups against opposing defenses.
My only concern here is his injury history, but I believe his insane upside and elite physical traits are too good to pass up.
