It’s been 59 years since a Missouri football team entered Norman, Oklahoma, and took down the Sooners. Since that 10-7 victory by a Dan Devine-coached team, Mizzou has gone 0-18 against Oklahoma on the road.
But the Tigers are 1-0 against OU since the Sooners joined the SEC, and they’ll look to pull off the upset Saturday to make their record 2-0.
Oklahoma is the eighth-ranked team in the nation and has a clear path to the College Football Playoff on the strength of its elite defense, creating an extremely
high bar for opposing teams to secure the victory.
Mizzou’s duo of Ahmad Hardy, the nation’s leading rusher, and returning quarterback Beau Pribula will try to clear that bar on offense. Pribula is expected to start for the Tigers just a month after leaving the field in Nashville with a dislocated ankle.
We’ll have the most notable updates from the game here in this article as MU looks to knock the Sooners off their playoff path. For all of our live updates, check our forums over at RockM+.
