This week, reacting to the blockbuster trade of superstar pass-rusher Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams, our colleagues at SB Nation power ranked all 32 NFL teams.
Interestingly, they broke the teams in categories. The Las Vegas Raiders were ranked No. 27. Yes, that’s low, but they were part of the category of teams that have a chance to make the playoffs. That range went from No. 17-28.
There were four teams that were in the category of playing for the No. 1 overall pick,
there were nine teams listed as playoff favorites and seven Super Bowl contenders. The three other AFC West teams were listed in the past two catergories.
So, it’s going to be a challenging season, but, I agree, the Raiders, at least, have a chance of going to the playoffs as we sit in early June and that’s all you can really ask for.
