The injury report for the Portland Trail Blazers’ Sunday game versus the New York Knicks is out and it contains an interesting update for Portland. For the first time since he strained his calf in mid-November,
point guard Jrue Holiday has been listed as questionable instead of out. There’s at least a possibility that Holiday can play.
The Blazers released the report on X today. Robert Williams III, who left Portland’s last game versus the Houston Rockets with an unidentified knee issue, joins Holiday as questionable on the list. The Blazers who are confirmed out are:
- Jerami Grant (Achilles Tendonitis)
- Scoot Henderson (Hamstring Tear)
- Damian Lillard (Achilles Tendon)
- Kris Murray (Lumbar Strain)
- Matisse Thybulle (Knee Tendinopathy)
- Blake Wesley (Foot Fracture)
Holiday has played in 12 games for the Blazers so far this season. He’s averaged 16.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 5.3 rebounds in 33.4 minutes per game. Portland is 6-6 when Holiday plays, almost exactly matching their 19-20 record on the season.
