Back in May when the NFL released the Denver Broncos 2026 schedule, I saw a brutal first six games for Denver and questioned how they could come out of that stretch above .500. In fact, my snap analysis was exactly this: “Frankly, if Denver can get through this stretch of games at or above .500 then we have to chalk that up as a major win.” Here they are at 4-2 and it feels like around Broncos County that we’re reacting to an 0-6 team right now.
We need to a little perspective. And yes, Bo Nix and
the offense need to get better. They need to find a better running game. They need better interior pass protection. They need wide receivers to get better separation. Bo needs to get through his reads on scheduled. All of this has been said ad nauseum. But here’s the thing, they are 4-2 and nowhere near playing good offensive football. And 4-2 against mostly playoff contenders (ChargersLOL).
Denver has gotten through the worst part of their schedule with a winning record and have a chance to reset the whole season. Road games against the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers with a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs in between. Punch the Chiefs in the mouth and make them doubt Week 1 happened and go into the Bye Week at 7-2. This is far more possible in my mind than what they just did to get to 4-2 through the first six games.
So let’s F-in go!
There is a lot of discussion around the Broncos today. Here is all the good stuff I could find and a recap of our stuff. Hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the mini-Bye!
