Ayo Dosunmu: Most Improved Player?
Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve said that about the Illinois legend in his NBA career, but this year it looks legit.
After a 21-point outburst in the Bulls’ win over the Hawks
on Monday, Chicago is 3-0 and Ayo is red-hot to start off year five.
He’s averaging 16.7 points through three games and shooting 55% from the field (60% from three). If Ayo is a true three-point threat now, the Bulls could be a competitive team in a weak Eastern Conference this season.
Dosunmu missed a large chunk of last season with injuries, but he said on Monday that his shoulder surgery may have been a blessing in disguise.
That’s our legend. Love you, Ayo.
