Things have settled into a pretty normal game week after all the chaos that happened earlier in the week with Brian Callahan being fired. The Tennessee Titans have had two practices under interim coach
Mike McCoy. Yesterday, the questions from the media shifted from questions about Callahan to questions about the New England Patriots. Now, we just wait and see if the Titans can get their interim coach bump.
- Treylon Burks was signed to the Washington Commanders’ practice squad yesterday. It would be the most Titan thing ever for Burks to go there and be good, but it’s hard to see that happening with what we saw from Burks during his time here.
- This tweet made me laugh:
- Femi Oladejo is on IR. Arden Key and Dre’Mont Jones have both missed practices this week. That means the Titans could be without their top three EDGE rushers against the Patriots. Whew, boy.
- Every 2026 NFL mock draft I have seen so far has the Titans taking an EDGE in the top five. That makes a lot of sense. Of course, they also need a playmaking wide receiver….
- Fan favorite for no reason, Xavier Restrepo, is playing Patriots’ WR Keyshon Boutte in practice this week:
- Restrepo has also been working on his speed, which is the main reason he’s on the practice squad and not the active roster.
