The final injury report for the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings is out ahead of their Monday Night Football matchup, and the Bears did get some good news, but first, the bad.
Linebacker T.J. Edwards, who hasn’t practiced all week, is listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury. With Edwards likely out, head coach Ben Johnson said rookie Ruben Hyppolite II will get some action. Noah Sewell will also see plenty of time on defense.
The Bears list three players as questionable: starting cornerback
Jaylon Johnson (calf/groin), nickelback Josh Blackwell (groin), and running back Roschon Johnson (foot).
Jaylon was limited all week, and Ben Johnson said he’s been getting more and more reps each practice, but it sounds like he could be a game-day decision.
Today was the time Roschon had practiced in a month, which probably means he’ll miss Monday but should be good to go in week two.
Rookie running back Kyle Monangai, who was limited earlier this week, was a full participant on Saturday and has no injury designation.
The Vikings list starting safety Harrison Smith as doubtful with an illness and starting left tackle Christian Darrisaw as questionable with a knee. Smih was limited the last two days, but it sounds like he’s not playing, while Darrisaw was full the last two days and appears good to go.
Minnesota lists running back Zavier Scott (ankle) and defensive end Elijah Williams (hamstring) as out.
