Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Brewers fans and fans across the country.
We’re back with another Reacts Survey, and this week we’re asking fans to help us fill out a potential playoff rotation.
With the Brewers currently sitting with the best record in baseball at 85-53, the Crew is on track for a first-round bye in the postseason, meaning they would start things off with a best-of-five series in the NLDS before
a pair of potential best-of-seven series in the NLCS and World Series.
It’s more than likely that you need a four-man rotation in all three of those rounds, as a three-man rotation would give pitchers just three days of rest between outings. With Jacob Misiorowski and Logan Henderson seemingly locked into the top two spots, it also seems likely that Kyle Harrison is the team’s No. 3 arm (though some of his recent results — particularly Monday night’s loss to the Cubs — may put that into question).
Assuming the top three options are Miz-Henderson-Harrison, who would you like to see round the rotation out? Trade deadline acquisition Dustin May? One of the young lefties in Shane Drohan or Robert Gasser? A bullpen game? Someone else?
Weigh in below, feel free to leave a comment if you have a different take, and stay tuned for results later this week!
