The Bayern Munich attacking trio of Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Díaz has been incredible all season, but sometimes it is easy to forget just how good the players have been in working together.
In the Champions League, the threesome has been especially lethal and set a new standard for the competition as they became the first set of three Bayern Munich teammates to all have 10 goal involvements in the competition per statistics company Opta:
3×10 – With Harry Kane (15), Michael Olise (11) and Luis Díaz (10), for the first time three @FCBayern players in a UEFA Champions League season have each recorded at least 10 direct goal involvements. Trio.
While end result of Tuesday’s match (5-4 in favor of Paris Saint-Germain) was not what the Bavarians wanted, it was yet another strong performance from the trio. Each player had a goal and Kane added an assist for good measure. Surely, the players would have traded those individual statistics for a win, but they will get the chance to make that happen next week in the return leg.
