This is the UFC 333 live blog for Aaron Pico vs. Losene Keita, the main card featherweight bout Saturday at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Pico is currently No. 12 at 145 pounds in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings.
In his most recent fight, Pico (14-5) won a unanimous decision over fellow former Bellator star Patricio Pitbull to earn his first UFC victory and bounce back from a disappointing debut against Lerone Murphy. Prior to joining the UFC, Pico had won nine of 10 fights competing for Bellator and the PFL.
Pico is known for his get-or-get-got style, having gone to the scorecards just three times in his 19-fight career, but could be turning the corner and finally living up to his championship potential.
Keita (17-2) also fell short in his UFC debut, losing a close split decision to Nathaniel Wood, but he scored a spectacular first-round knockout over Muhammadjon Naimov in his sophomore outing. The former two-division Oktagon MMA champion steps in on short notice for an injured Arnold Allen with a chance to get a number next to his name with a win on Saturday.
