WWE put the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match in the main event of tonight’s (Sat., Oct. 10, 2026) Money in the Bank premium live event at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Penta, and Trick Williams had something big to follow too, considering the women tore the house down earlier in the evening.
They weren’t exactly going for it early on, with some relatively safe spots. Then, they played up a major injury with what looked like
a relatively routine — though impactful — spot with Breakker hitting a huge spear on a charging Evans on the outside into the barricade.
Medical personnel hit the scene quickly and Evans was taken out on a stretcher and ultimately loaded up in an ambulance.
A set up for later?
You bet.
Evans hijacked the ambulance and drove it back into the arena, all the way up to the ring. Then he came rushing out like a man possessed, hardly selling the effects of what was apparently such an injury that he needed said ambulance in the first place, and ran wild on quite literally everyone in the immediate vicinity.
When Breakker made his comeback, they worked to a spot where Evans climbed a gigantic ladder near the ropes and Bron pushed him off, launching him through the roof of the same ambulance he drove in.
Boy did they have the crowd all the way back in by then.
From there, Breakker tried to go up the ladder but was met by Penta, who hit a Mexican Destroyer off the big ladder onto a bridged ladder by the ring posts. He came back from it, all by himself, and climbed the ladder to take the briefcase for himself.
Evans was given the biggest showcase but it was Penta, off the backs of a major title match against Roman Reigns, who set himself up to get right back in the main event scene.
