Gameweek 5 offers plenty of intriguing differentials for FPL managers seeking an edge, with new signings and emerging talents making their mark.
From Ndoye and Anthony at Burnley to Spurs’ exciting Xavi Simons, several low-owned options could deliver big hauls. With form, fixtures, and opportunity aligning, now may be the perfect time to back these overlooked gems.
Dan Ndoye (£6.1m, Burnley v Nottingham Forest)
Ndoye has shown glimpses of what to expect this season, scoring once and assisting another. The Swiss international has taken over the right
side of Nottingham Forest’s attack previously occupied by Elanga, who is now at Newcastle.
With Postecoglou’s side set to face Burnley in GW5, now could be a good time for FPL managers to trust him in their teams.

Jaidon Anthony (£5.5m, Burnley v Nottingham Forest)
In gameweek four, Anthony caused plenty of problems for Liverpool despite the Clarets’ painful loss to the Reds on Sunday.
He has continued from where he left off in the Championship last season, scoring twice and assisting once in four games this season. Coming in at 5.5million, the Burnley man is a low budget differential option for gameweek five.
Xavi Simons (£7m, Brighton v Tottenham)
Simons has enjoyed an encouraging start to life with Spurs, providing an assist in his first game over the weekend.
His ability has never been in question; the concern was how quickly he could adapt to the pace of Premier League football, and there were plenty of positive signs in his debut. With an ownership of 2.3%, Simons is a very good differential option for gameweek five.
Ndiaye (£6.5m, Liverpool v Everton)
Ndiaye has been the biggest beneficiary of Grealish’s arrival at the Toffees, accumulating 20 points in his last three games.
Despite not scoring in their most recent match, he still picked up two additional points for his defensive contributions.
Everton now faces a Liverpool side that hasn’t fully convinced this season, but has still found a way to win all their games.
Woltemade (£7m, Bournemouth v Newcastle)
Woltemade scored the only goal in his first game for Newcastle against Wolves, helping the Magpies secure their first win of the season. The striker looked assured and ready to lead the line in his debut.
He also picked up three bonus points, and with an ownership of just 2.3% the new Newcastle man could very much be a Chris Wood replacement for those looking to move on from the Forest man in gameweek five.
