Mr. Anderson was victorious in his return to the TNA ring on Impact (Sept. 25, 2025). He had some help partnering with Steve Maclin for tag team action against Frankie Kazarian and Jake Something.
This was the first time in nearly a decade that Ken Anderson wrestled in the Impact Zone. After last week’s special appearance, he was given the main event spot for the broadcast from Minneapolis, MN. Anderson had to give the people what they want, but there was a problem. TNA didn’t set up the microphone
to lower from the ceiling. Maclin adjusted on the fly. He grabbed the ring announcer’s microphone, pulled out a steel chair, stood atop for added height, then mimicked lowering the mic down himself into Anderson’s hand for his signature introduction. Mr. Anderson! Anderson!
Anderson held his own in the competitive match. He was a very active participant. It wasn’t just picking his spots. After an onslaught of offense from Kazarian, Anderson made the hot tag to Maclin. Mr. Mayhem ran wild for a suicide dive to Jake. Maclin continued with an Olympic Slam and a spear of woe to Kaz in the corner. Anderson made sure Jake didn’t break up the finish. He planted the big man with the Mic Drop. Maclin cleaned up for the KIA to pin Kaz. Anderson and Maclin were victorious.
In terms of storyline, that appears to be the end of this mini angle for Anderson. Of course, he could always return. Maclin moves on to defend the TNA International Championship against Kazarian at Victory Road.
