AEW is a few days away from WrestleDream on Saturday, October 18 from St. Louis, MO. The card is stacking up with four title bouts, an I Quit contest, a big money match, and more. The updated lineup includes:
- AEW World Championship: Hangman Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Toni Storm
- AEW World Tag Team Championship: Brody King & Bandido (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita
- TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
- I Quit: Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley
- $500k Match: Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express
- Hurt Syndicate vs. Ricochet & GOA
- Jamie Hayter vs. Thekla
This PPV round has a pretty simple build. Samoa Joe felt disrespected by Hangman Page, so they want to fight. Toni Storm wants her title back from Kris Statlander. The Callis Family beat Brodido to earn their shot at tag team gold. Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe meet for the fifth time, and the TNT
title is on the line. They each have two wins apiece. Darby Allin wants to murder Jon Moxley, but he’ll settle for an I Quit match. The Young Bucks blew through their winnings, and they need more money. Jack Perry and Luchasaurus have a bone to pick with the Bucks. One plus one equals the $500,000 prize. The Demand demand more chaos from the Hurt Syndicate. MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are happy to oblige. Jamie Hayter and Thekla are on a collision for Blood & Guts. In the meantime, they’ll duke it out in a standard singles match.
The pre-show includes FTR versus JetSpeed and Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford versus Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron.
