The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their Week 2 game against the Tennessee Titans.
The big news is that starting safety Andrew Mukuba is ACTIVE after being ruled questionable to play due to the knee injury he suffered in practice this week. We’ll see if the Eagles have him on a pitch count at all or if he’ll take all of his usual snaps. The Eagles have two safeties active behind starters Mukuba and Marcus Epps: Michael Carter II and undrafted rookie free agent Maximus
Pulley, who is active for his first career NFL game after being temporarily elevated from the practice squad.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Jonathan Greenard, Tanner McKee, Micah Morris, Elijah Moore, and Cole Payton.
McKee is the Eagles’ emergency third quarterback again with Andy Dalton serving as Jalen Hurts’ primary backup. No QB2 rotation, which would’ve been weird … but also on brand with how strangely the Eagles have handled this situation.
Greenard was ruled out on Friday’s injury report. Perhaps he’ll be able to return in Week 3? For now, the Eagles have Jalyx Hunt, Nolan Smith, Arnold Ebiketie, and A.J. Epenesa at edge rusher.
Morris is inactive as a developmental player with eight offensive linemen active ahead of him. Speaking of the offensive line, Cam Jurgens is set to start at left guard in place of Landon Dickerson with Drew Kendall filling in at center.
Moore is a healthy scratch for the second week in a row despite having a good summer where it looked like he built some nice chemistry with Hurts. Hollywood Brown, who played zero snaps in Week 1, is active ahead of Moore again.
Payton is the Eagles’ fourth-string quarterback, so, no surprise that he’s inactive. Unlike McKee, he is ineligible to play in this game.
The Eagles are entering this game with an open spot on the roster.

Titans starting cornerback Cor’Dale Flott is INACTIVE after being added to the injury report on Friday. Not an ideal development for Tennessee’s secondary.
Backup linebacker James Williams is also inactive after being ruled questionable to play.
Former Eagles depth tight end Kylen Granson is a healthy scratch for the Titans.
