Indiana women’s basketball (7-1, 0-1 Big Ten) is set to take on
The Hoosiers are coming off of a bit of a weird 71-53 win over Western Michigan that started pretty slow, with the Broncos leading after the first
quarter, before Indiana took control in the second and stayed there for the rest of the game. Indiana’s had some weird games against mid-major foes at Assembly Hall, but has enough high-major wins to feel comfortable where it is right now.
The Fighting Illini actually have a similar resume. Illinois played some relatively close buy games and fell on the road to a strong Oregon State program, but boasts a blowout road win over the same Florida State team Indiana beat and hasn’t allowed over 41 points in its last three matchups against buy game opponents.
